Good Tyms

Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 August 2026

GOOD TYMS LTD ("Good Tyms", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the Good Tyms mobile application, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

Email subscriptions

If you choose to join our email list, we collect your email address through our email service provider. Subscription is optional, you may unsubscribe at any time, and we do not sell or share email addresses for advertising.

Bug reports and support

When you choose to submit a bug report or contact us, the information you provide may include the app version, iOS version, device model, and the contents of your message. This information is used only for support and debugging.

Optional analytics and crash diagnostics

When Usage Analytics is enabled, Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics may receive:

We never add card titles, dates, notes, photos, attachments, locations, profiles, URLs, or other personal card content to Firebase telemetry.

In the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, Firebase collection remains disabled until you choose Allow Analytics. In other regions, it starts enabled where permitted. You can enable or disable it at any time in Settings > Data & Privacy > Usage Analytics.

Turning Usage Analytics off stops future Analytics collection. Crashlytics applies an opt-out no later than the next app launch. Disabling collection does not retroactively erase information already processed by Google.

2. Your app content

Cards, notes, photos, attachments, profiles, and other content you create are stored on your device. On Apple devices, private app content may be synchronized through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. GOOD TYMS LTD cannot access your private CloudKit database.

On Android, if you choose Google Drive backup, Good Tyms uploads a portable snapshot of your cards and supported media to a hidden application-data folder in your personal Google Drive account. Only Good Tyms can request access to this folder through the limited Google Drive app-data permission. These snapshots provide backup and restore rather than live synchronization, and they remain subject to your Google Account storage and deletion controls. Card content in Google Drive backups is not sent to Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.

When you explicitly share a card, the content you choose to share is uploaded to CloudKit's public database so a shareable link can be created. This happens only after you initiate sharing.

Photos and location information selected for card features are processed on your device and are not added to Firebase telemetry. Good Tyms does not collect contacts, advertising identifiers, or data for cross-app tracking.

3. Third-party services

Good Tyms uses or links to the following providers:

These providers process information under their own privacy terms.

4. How we use and share information

Information is processed only to provide features you choose, operate and improve Good Tyms, diagnose failures, respond to support requests, send requested email updates, or comply with law.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use Firebase data for advertising, link it to your identity, or use it to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization are disabled in the app.

5. Retention and security

Private app content remains on your device, in your personal iCloud account, or in optional Google Drive backup snapshots until you delete it according to the applicable provider's storage and backup controls. Good Tyms automatically retains up to three Google Drive snapshots when that feature is enabled. Shared-card data remains in CloudKit as needed to provide its link. Email, feedback, support, and Firebase data are retained according to the applicable provider settings and legal requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.

6. Children's privacy

Good Tyms is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it.

7. Your choices and rights

You may:

Withdrawing Analytics consent stops future collection but does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Most app content can be deleted directly within Good Tyms or through your device, iCloud, and Google Drive controls.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Good Tyms or its data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
